After a brief hiatus from the professional world to raise a family, Elizabeth Marcotte determined that her growing Northern Virginia community needed a convenient and cost-effective way to provide healthy meals for busy families. As an active volunteer, who organized neighborhood monthly socials, sports teams, classroom parties, and playgroups, she knew all too well the challenge of juggling a hectic family schedule.
Elizabeth has managed the construction and opening of the three Let’s Dish! locations. She is an active participant in several Northern Virginia networking groups and organizations including The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Women in Business Alliance (WIBA). She has been featured on several Washington DC television programs as well as interviewed by many magazines and papers. In November 2007, Let’s Dish! won the 2007 Product of the Year Award from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to launching her business Elizabeth was the Fundraising Chair for Nysmith School for the Gifted where she ran a campaign to raise funds to purchase school items that were not covered in the school’s operating budget. Previous to this, she was a Kitchen Consultant for The Pampered Chef and for over five years she was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division and then an Associate and Manager for Treasury, Credit and Finance for Merrill Lynch PF&S in New York.
Elizabeth attended Union College in Schenectady, New York where she earned a Bachelor degree in Managerial Economics. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She currently lives in Great Falls, Virginia, with her two children.
