Dear Michigan Alumni,

Mark your calendars for the 34th annual Alfred L. Edwards BBSA Conference.  Last year’s conference was a great success. Our outstanding speakers and panelists reminded us of the importance of building a strong legacy, as they shared valuable advice and insightful personal stories about how to achieve personal, professional, and philanthropic success.  This year’s conference promises to be another excellent opportunity for alumni, current and prospective students, and professionals to gain valuable career insights from industry professionals, strengthen networks, forge new relationships, and reconnect with old acquaintances. This year’s conference theme, “Leading the Way: Staying Competitive in a Changing Global Economy”, will focus our attention on industries and businesses that are frequently overlooked by business people but that will be critical in the rapidly changing business environment.

The conference will take place Thursday, December 3, 2009, through Saturday, December 5, 2009 on campus at the Michigan League. Online registration goes live the week of October 26.
